Gate Connect Event in Ho Chi Minh City: Fostering Collaboration and Empowering the Web3 Industry in Vietnam
Gate.io Vietnam, successfully hosted Gate Connect - Empowering Web3 Innovators, an event aimed at supporting and connecting startups and KOLs in the Web3 industry in Vietnam. The event took place on July 14, 2023, at Asiana Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event witnessed a gathering of 100 participants who engaged in a series of activities designed to foster collaboration and innovation in the Web3 eco.
Four representatives from VBA joined the event. Mr. Thanh Dao, Head of Investment and Application of VBA, expressed his enthusiasm and support for this event, highlighting the opportunities it will create for the Web3 community. Additionally, Gate.io Vietnam announced the launch of the Gate.io Innovation Fund for Vietnam Startups. The Head of Investment and Application from VBA also came to the stage to share about Gate.io and Gate.io Innovation Fund. The fund aims to provide financial support to promising startups in Vietnam’s Web3 industry.
During the event, Rae Pui, CEO of Gate Charity, delivered a keynote speech, emphasizing the importance of nurturing innovation, and shared some achievements by Gate Charity and why the organization chose Vietnam to carry out the project.
To facilitate the submission process for the Gate.io Innovation Fund, participants were provided with a QR code to access the submission portal. Gate.io Vietnam aims to support and invest in projects that demonstrate strong potential, subject to a comprehensive review process.
A panel discussion on Web3 technology provided an opportunity for industry experts and participants to share insights and discuss the future of the Web3 eco. The discussion delved into various aspects of Web3 technology, exploring its potential to revolutionize industries and create new opportunities. The event concluded with a networking session and party, allowing participants to connect, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations within the Web3 community.
