For newbies just entering the world of Crypto Assets, the primary task is not to immediately pursue profits, but to learn how to avoid pitfalls. As a cryptocurrency investor who has experienced ups and downs, I deeply understand that the mistakes newbies often make are not investing too little or earning too little, but rather failing to realize how many traps they have already stepped into.
Thinking back to when I first entered the market in 2019, I only had the simple idea that "prices go up and I can make money." What was the result? I lost almost all of my first investment of a few thousand yuan, and at that time, I naively thought it was just bad luck. Later, I realized that these are common traps.
Whether it's spot trading, niche tokens, or the primary market, each area harbors risks. I once invested in SHIB and AXS, and fortunately made my first bucket of gold, but more often than not, I suffered heavy losses. The primary market is especially dangerous; I once lost 300,000 here and personally experienced what is called "textbook-level harvesting of leeks." Even more terrifying is that some seemingly popular projects can have their funds stolen just by clicking on an unsafe link.
New project subscriptions, quantitative trading, and rebate programs are not as easy to profit from as one might imagine. Subscribing to new projects often takes time and yields low returns, and it's rare to encounter a blockbuster. Quantitative trading requires professional skills; with a small investment, one may not feel the returns, while a larger investment raises concerns. As for rebates, although the risks are low, the returns are limited, making it nearly impossible to turn one's fortunes around relying solely on them.
Leveraged contract trading is even more dangerous for newbies. It seems thrilling, but in reality, it's a double-edged sword. I faced liquidation multiple times in 2023 and only gradually mastered the rules by 2024-2025. The key is not to trade based on intuition, but to establish a system, maintain discipline, and manage risk effectively. Only by learning to analyze technical indicators' resonance, statistically calculating win rates, and controlling the profit-loss ratio can one stabilize profits in contract trading. If newbies do not understand these concepts and rashly enter contract trading, they are likely to become someone else's harvesting targets.
For Newbies in the Crypto Assets space, the primary lesson is always to learn how to avoid traps and not to become someone else's leek easily. It is essential to learn to diversify investments, allocate funds wisely, treat information from social circles and promotional links with caution, and not to follow the crowd blindly. Only by doing this can one survive in this market and have the opportunity to discover real profit opportunities. Remember, in the Crypto Assets market, the first thing to learn is survival, and only then can you talk about how to profit.
Finally, I hope that everyone who pays attention to this topic can reap substantial rewards in the future market. Stay vigilant, move forward steadily, and believe that you will eventually find your own opportunity.
