In a recent post by on-chain data and analytics account IntoTheBlock, an interesting statistic was presented for meme coin Pepe.
PEPE outperformed nearly all altcoins in its impressive performance in May, outpacing almost 96% of all meme coins. Pepe, which closed the bear market more profitably than all meme coins, has long been the most talked-about meme coin.
In the list made by IntoTheBlock, the giant meme coins such as Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), FLOKI (FLOKI), and Akita (AKITA) are included, as well as the TRUMP meme coin, which is becoming increasingly popular with the approaching US presidential elections.
According to CoinGecko data, PEPE, which has recorded an increase of over 100% in the last 30 days, has refreshed the all-time high level record several times during this period. At the time of writing, PEPE is trading at only 10% below the ATH level at $0.0000152.
